1st Avenue NE (N.192nd to N. 195th). Completed.
5th Avenue NE (N. 175 to N. 182nd Ct.). Completed. Loss: 17 healthy trees along 5th Ave NE.
20th Ave NW (from NW 195th St to Saltwater Park entrance). Completed. Save Shoreline Trees successfully campaigned for a continuous 8’ wide sidewalk rather than the proposed 10’ wide sidewalk.
New Sidewalks in Shoreline
Save Shoreline Trees understands the need for sidewalk construction and sidewalk rehabilitation in Shoreline. We believe existing trees and new sidewalks can co-exist. We ask the City of Shoreline to consider sidewalk alternatives at the initial design phase to save trees. Displayed are several examples of alternative and sustainable sidewalks in Shoreline.
