Council approves new tree codes effective April 5, 2022
The Tree Preservation Code Team submitted nine (9) proposed tree code amendments to the City at the end of November 2020; one proposed code regarding Public Tree Management; and, a proposal for an Urban Forestry Advisory Panel (UFAP).
City Council approved many of the proposed tree codes in March 2022. The proposed code providing additional information to the public about right of way street tree removal was not approved. The proposal for an Urban Forestry Advisory Panel is pending Council review.
